I think that's probably the biggest time gap since I joined LiveJournal. So here's a rundown of the past six months:

So helping out at the County Show wasn't so bad. I still maintain that I'm terrible at interacting with young children and my feet were killing me by the end of the day, but I got into the swing of talking to people a lot better than at the Health & Safety Day which shows a marked improvement I guess ( Read more... )

Work is still going okay, though I'm sorta glad it's the weekend. Went out for lunch with the team yesterday which was... nice, I guess. I'm not good at being social, I've learned how to handle one-on-one or small group interactions but with a whole big group of people sat around I sort of just faded out.

Sorry that I haven't updated in forever. I hit a major fucking downer that left me pretty incapacitated for about a week and I'm still on the mend from it. Spent the morning stuffing envelopes for Jules and then had to leave for an early lunch so that I could be at the Gateway to keep minutes for a meeting for Jane. Copied up the minutes from the meeting yesterday afternoon, then spent the rest of the morning hanging out in the CS department while Carrie showed me the ropes of taking messages and transferring calls. It was pretty quiet since it was a Wednesday morning, so she recommended I stop by again at the start of next week when there'll be more activity ( Read more... )
